How to Use Salaf.Com

New Salaf.Com Portal

We are pleased to launch the new Salaf.Com! We have moved over from the previous Wordpress platform to a new, more robust and better one. Inshaa'Allaah, this will allow us to make all of our content accessible much more easier than before and will improve your experience in using our network. We have many more features to add inshaa'Allaah. So make it your browser default homepage now!

How To Keep Updated on All the Latest Content

Salaf.Com now integrates all the content from our network of sites. You can now search all the content (by title) on all of the sites by the search feature here on Salaf.Com. This makes it much easier to track everything from one location rather than have to visit so many different sites!

You can receive immediate notifications of all content in one of two ways:

  1. Join us on Twitter. Just create a twitter account, and then go to our twitter page and opt to follow us. This will give you pretty much immediate notification of all content.

  2. Use an RSS reader. Most email clients now allow you to add RSS feeds. You will receive article notifications just like you receive regular email. The RSS feed addresses you want to add are the following two: http://salaf.com/s/rss and http://www.salaf.com/s/rss/news. If you don't use a separate email client and use a web-based email service like Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail, they will also allow you to send RSS feeds to your email

  3. Alternatively, you can use a third party service such as FeedMyInbox.Com. You just enter you email address and set up both of these feeds: http://salaf.com/s/rss and http://www.salaf.com/s/rss/news. Whenever a new article or item is added on our network, you will receive an email more or less immediately inshaa'Allaah.

Take Action Now!

We strongly encourage you to take whichever of the above steps is suitable for you. This way you will not be missing out on important information that could be a very positive influence on your deen. This is the information age, not the 19th century Victorian era, so make sure you are in the loop. Being informed is key to keeping wise! We have many more projects in the pipeline inshaa'Allaah, all of which will improve your experience and help to support you in learning, understanding, and practising to be a better person of the Sunnah inshaa'Allaah. So please take action now, join us on twitter, and add our RSS feeds to your email client, or use a third party service to send you email notifications through our RSS feeds.
