How Ibn Khuzaymah (d. 311H) Used to Memorise Fiqh From His Hadeeths

Abu 'Alee al-Haafidh said:

كان ابن خزيمة يحفظ الفقهيات من حديثه كما يحفظ القارئ السورة

Ibn Khuzaymah used to memorize derivations of fiqh (understandings, rulings, principles) from his hadeeth just like a reciter memorizes a surah (of the Qur'an).

Al-Siyar of al-Dhahabi (14/372). Ibn Khuzaymah (d. 311H) is the author of Kitab al-Tawhid, a book on the attributes, and a Shafi'ite scholar in jurisprudence.
